The project to establish a regional ASC in Kharkiv region was implemented jointly by Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Kharkiv City Council and international partners under a Memorandum of Cooperation between Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The Kharkiv Regional Centre for Administrative and Social Services is the largest and most efficient of its kind in Ukraine.
It can serve about 2,000 people a day, providing up to 450 services. The centre will offer a range of exclusive services. The regional ASC will employ about 320 people.
In time, it will be open not only to residents of the Kharkiv region, but also to people from neighbouring regions.
The chief architect is Dmitry Fomenko.
The team has been given a challenging task. After all, it is much easier to create something from scratch than to rebuild what was, frankly, a bad building before the project began.
After all, it was just a reinforced concrete frame that needed to be transformed into something pleasant, interesting and, above all, functional.
And it is not just the interesting glass facades that are pleasing from the outside; the space inside has also changed dramatically. The old past is no longer recognisable.
