In 2017, the educational and library complex of the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University was recognised as the best building among educational institutions in the nomination of public facilities.
The building was awarded based on the results of the annual competition "The Best Buildings and Structures Constructed and Commissioned in Ukraine", held on the initiative of the Ministry of Regional Development and the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine.
Construction of the 16,620.3 square metre complex began in May 2012 and was completed in December 2016. It was opened on 3 March 2017.
